Az indulás minden esetben a siófoki Stefánia vitorláskikötőből történik.

Találkozási pont a fenti térképen "Kék vitorlással jelölt" T Flotta standnál történik.

Parkolás a vitorlás utcában lehetséges - fizetős. A horgony utcánál - a nagy városi parkolóban - a parkolás ingyenes. (A közvetlen szálloda előtti helyeket legyenek szívesen szabadon hagyni a hotel vendégeinek.)  A Hotel Moló és a Hotel Yacht szállodák területére ne lépjenek be, csak a megadott kollégánk kíséretében.

Impornant note:
It is important not to confuse the Stefánia marina with the Siófok Boat Station, as they are 2 different locations.
(The Boat Station is the departure point for our bigger, two-masted, 40-70 person sailboats, motorboats and passenger boats. It is located at the end of Krúdy sétány, dock nr. 8, where scheduled pirate boat programmes, big boat cruising and sunset tours, disco boat, private and corporate event boats depart.)

Our base location is Siófok, therefore our sailing boats always depart from here. Departure from other harbours (for example Balatonfüred or Tihany) are subject of agreement, extra fees apply.

Weather:

Sailing is a highly weather-dependent technical sport, so conditions will always affect the programme. In case of winds above 50 km/h, heavy rain and temperatures below 15°C, the booking will be rescheduled free of charge, and for groups the deposit will be refunded - also in case of epidemics.

For the above reason, if the weather is not good on the day of sailing, check with the skipper in the morning before departure (whose number will be given to you the day before sailing) to see if the weather is suitable for sailing.

General information about sailing:

A full-day boat rental is 8 hours and a half-day is 4 hours.

Please avoid wearing shoes with black soles. We thank you, if you arrive in white or light soled shoes, on behalf of the boats. In addition, there are no other clothing requirements, we always recommend comfortable clothing appropriate to the weather. It is advisable to bring a jacket or sweater, as temperatures may be different on open water.

We have life jackets on all our boats, no need to ask for one.

Sailing is not recommended for children under 3 years of age, our captains cannot take responsibility for them, so we would like to ask our passengers to try to find someone to look after them while you are are sailing.

Pets may be taken on board at your own risk. Please check with us in advance.

Sailing with a skipper:

The contact details of the skipper or the handover person will be included in the confirmation e-mail, but you can also call +36 30 542 4208 on the day of sailing.
Please arrive 10 minutes early for sailing with a skipper programmes - do not be late. Please be kind enough to arrive on time, this is especially important for the 2 hour sailing. Our boats are scheduled for the whole day, so if you are late it will unfortunately be at the expense of your time.

During a 2-hour sailing there is no time to moor in a different marina. The only reason for this is that you would not be able to get to another port and back in that time. (The distance between Siófok and Balatonfüred is roughly 2-3 hours, depending on the wind strength and direction.)
In these 2 hours you can still spend the time pleasantly, besides the pleasure of sailing, you can also stop for a swim (with the captain's permission) in the crystal clear water far from the busy beaches.

If you choose a full day sailing trip, you can also fit in a stopover on the other side of the lake with a route to Balatonfüred, Alsóörs or Tihany. Our boats have Bahart stickers, so you can stop for lunch or a stroll in these harbours for free. In high season there may be no free guest berths in these ports, we ask for your understanding in such cases, these are reasons beyond our control.
If you have no idea about the route and the programme, feel free to ask the captains, they know Lake Balaton like the back of their hands.

Boat rental (without skipper):

The contact details of the person who will hand over the boat will be included in the confirmation email of the charter, but you can also enquire about this on the same day by calling +36 30 542 4208. A magnetic card is required to use the port infrastructure and will be provided to our charterers and those using our boats as accommodation.

We do not provide bed linen or blankets for overnight stays on the boat, which you must provide yourself. In cool weather, oil radiators can be provided on request.

Payment, finalising your booking: 

To finalise your booking for a private sailing trip, please transfer 50% of the total amount to the bank account provided (full amount for amounts below 30.000 Ft). The remaining amount must be paid by bank transfer within 72 hours before departure or in cash to the skipper. Subsequent payment is only possible by prior arrangement in exceptional cases.

Cancellation of the ordered service is possible at least 2 weeks before the event. If cancelled within this period, the deposit paid will not be refunded.

Cancellation, failure of service:

It is skipper's responsibility to determine whether the conditions are suitable for sailing.

In case of unfavourable weather conditions (temperature below 15°C, wind above 50 km/h, torrential rain), technical failure and similar technical problems, the service provider reserves the right to change the date of sailing or sailboat rental. In this case, in consultation with the guest, a new date can be booked free of charge. If no new date can be agreed, the amount paid will be refunded. The service provider is not liable for any other costs incurred (e.g. travel costs, accommodation, etc.).

Vouchers, coupons:

If you use gift vouchers purchased from our partners, we may charge a surcharge depending on the date and number of participants. Please always check the relevant provider's website before purchasing a voucher.
